The kick off meeting of the EUREPGAP's National Technical Working of Greece held in Ierapetra, Crete, Greece (July, 07 2006) during the recent Congress organised gy GEOTEE/Crete Division concerning "The future of the vegetables".
Mr Kristian Moeller Secretary EUREPGAP and Managing Director FoodPLUS GmbH, was given the inaugural kick off for the activation of the NTWG, constituted from Christos D. Katsanos (DKG GROUP Ltd), Vassilis Papaekonomou (AGRON S.A.), Nikos & George Margaritopoulos (Novacert Ltd), Ms Marianna Papadaki & Mr. Pantelis Mountzogiannis (KYRVAS S.A.), Vasilios Stamatis (EUROCERT), Lazaros Karanikas (QMSCert LTD) and George Kravvas (TUV Hellas/Agrisystems).
Mr. Moeller congratulated the whole team for the translation in the Greek language the EurepGap documents (it is expected their official ratification by the NTWG) and confirmed his wiliness to promote the sector demand for harmonisation (benchmarking) with the national standard AGRO 2.
The members of NTWG/Greece very soon will elect the National Coordinator with EUREPGAP
